GROUP CLINICS

Our adult group tennis clinics are offered every day making it convenient for your busy schedule.  Learn tennis from the best pros in Chester County.
 
Our clinics include the always-popular Point Play, where all levels are welcome.  Point Play includes a short warm up followed by doubles drills including various shots and patterns.  Point play is meant to be a fast paced clinic with little instruction to maximize your playing time.  Click HERE  for the current schedule.  Sign up required for point play.  Click HERE to sign up.  

 
Beginner Clinic, for those just learning to play or if you haven’t play in awhile and need to brush up on your strokes.  Click HERE for the current schedule.  Clinic days include Monday 12:00 to 1:30 pm, Tuesday Night 7 to 8:30 pm (sign up required), Wednesday 9 to 10:30 am, Wednesday Night 7 to 8:30 pm (sign up required), and Saturday 11 to 12 pm (1 hour).  Click HERE to sign up for the Tuesday or Wednesday Night clinic.  

 

Our Stroke Development Clinic is being removed from the schedule this fall. 
 

Penn Oaks Adult Singles Clinics will resume after labor day.   The clinic is held on Mondays and Thursdays from 1:30 - 3:00 PM with Jonathan Hodess!  If you are looking to tune up your baseline game, get a great workout, or are a regular singles player for your USTA team then this is the practice for you! Throughout the year we focus on everything from singles strategy to technique to footwork.  Member Price: $30  Non-Member Price: $35  Discounted Practice Punch Cards are available to our Members as well! The Singles Clinic is capped at 4 players per court, so sign up is required to attend.  Jonathan sends a weekly email invitation to sign up for the Singles Clinics. Point Play

Beginner Clinic

Designed for complete beginners or those looking to brush back up on the fundamentals of the game. The Beginner Clinic discusses everything from how to hold the racket (grips), to stroke fundamentals, to court positioning and shot selection.

Singles Clinic

Join the Singles Clinic to tune up your baseline game, get a great workout, learn game strategies and improve your singles

match play.

LEAGUES
Penn Oaks Women's Doubles League
Penn Oak's Women's Doubles League is an in-house league for players with a USTA rating of 2.5 or 3.0. Matches are played Tuesday mornings between 9am and 12pm. There are both fall and winter sessions, with teams forming in late summer. If you are interested in joining the Women's League, please call us at 610-399-3800 or send us an email!   
USTA Leagues
Penn Oaks hosts several USTA teams during the year, ranging in level from 2.5 to 4.5 for both men, women, and mixed leagues. We offer team practices and coaching. Home matches are played at Penn Oaks on the indoor and outdoor courts. Deltri Women's Doubles League
Deltri is a women's doubles interclub tennis league. The league is comprised of 6 different divisions that range in USTA levels 3.0 to 5.0. Each team is made up of 6 doubles partnerships. The Deltri season is an 18-week session played on Fridays in October through March. There is a mid-season break for the holidays! The remaining matches are played with other clubs in the league. There is a weekly match fee and a minimal league fee--for more information, visit the Deltri website.
